Back to School: A Guide to School Lunches

It’s that time of year again; it’s time for the kids to go back to school. Back to paper, pencils, books, and brown paper bag lunches. But does that mean the children have to suffer through plain old boring PB&J, day in and day out? Absolutely not! That’s where we come in. So, throw on your chef coat and let’s get cookin with some simple yet fun school lunch ideas that will make all the other kids jealous!

    My favorite was decorating the paper lunch bag. I started with math problems and spelling words (leaving out certain letters). Later I bought stencils and painted the designs (cats, fish, flowers, sports equipment, dogs, sea creatures, dinosaurs, etc. The designs got so good that kids begged for the picture when our son was done with his food.
